Gina Telaroli (director): Gina has been making, watching, teaching, and writing about cinema for the past 10 years. She just completed her second feature film, TRAVELING LIGHT.
Meerkat Media (producer): Meerkat Media always strives for a non-hierarchical and inclusive creative process, expressed through skill-sharing and collaboration in all aspects of our work. We have had our work screened at Silverdocs and Docuclub, the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival, The New York International Latino Film Festival, the Media that Matters Film Festival, the Brooklyn Underground Film Festival and broadcast on the Franco-German arts channel Arte. Meerkat and the rest of the A LITTLE DEATH crew consists of artists, mediamakers, musicians, actors and activists, with everyone lending their talents in a variety of ways, bringing their artistic skills as well as their collaborative ones.
Eric Phillips-Horst (cinematographer): Eric works as a principle cinematographer for the collaborative film collective Meerkat Media (meerkatmedia.org). His documentary work recently swept the New York International Latino Film Festival and other work has been broadcast on networks including MTV, French-German public television, and the Manhattan Neighborhood Network. He currently works in camera and production in New York City, and teaches production and digital crafts at DCTV in Manhattan.
Ann Lorraine Novak (star): Ann is an active member of the Meerkat Media Arts Collective. She co-wrote and produced Every Third Bite, as well as animated two shorts, both screened in New York City: the award-winning “Wee Dark Hours,” and “My Felt Bike.” Her work is primarily in agriculture. This is her first feature film.
